Vegan Tofu Lettuce Wraps


This is a great recipe for the summer, it’s vegan tofu lettuce wraps. These are incredibly easy, and full of flavor. One of the great things about lettuce wraps is that you can customize them however you’d like!

Ingredients

Butter Lettuce
Air-Fried Tofu
Rice noodles
2 tbsp Maple syrup
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Garlic Chili Paste
2 tbsp Sriracha
Cilantro
Basil
Hoisin Sauce (optional)

Steps:

1. Press the tofu for 30 minutes to get the moisture out.
2. Prepare Air-Fried Tofu. See my recipe here: Air-Fried Tofu
3. Prepare the rice noodles according to the instructions on the package.
4. Mix together the soy sauce, chili paste, maple syrup, and sriracha. Use half of this sauce and toss the air-fried tofu with it.
5. Pull off a piece of butter lettuce and add in the middle: 1) rice noodles, 2) air-fried tofu, 3) cilantro and basil, 4) top with the extra sauce and optional hoisin.
